Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) was used to determine the effect of base-protein source of the diet (PM and SBM), inclusion level of HP40Y (up to 20% inclusion) and the interaction (P <0.05) on variables tested during the study. In the presence of significant interaction, two diet series (PM and SBM) were analyzed separately (while using the same basal diet in both sets of diets) using one-way ANOVA followed by the Tukey’s multiple comparison test to evaluate significant differences between treatment means.
